Yacht Ownership Course
The Skill of Buying and
Owning Yachts
Yacht ownership has many obvious benefits but there
are many factors and considerations that are not really obvious
to the new yacht owner.
Often yachts are bought from the heart not the head.
While we stress the practical elements of yacht purchase and ownership,
we understand the emotions and acknowledge them.
It's often said that the best day of yacht ownership is taking delivery
and the second best is the day someone pays you for it; we work
to make sure this is not the case.
Many of our clients have purchased or are interested in purchasing
yachts so we have constructed this course to cover most of the facets
involved.
We will share the lessons learnt from long term involvement in the
yachting industry and owning yachts of various sizes for over twenty
years.
The course can be modified to suit individual requirements and we
suggest it be undertaken in a 2 Student or Private format to ensure
individual needs are met.
On Shore Component
This component is conducted over one day on-shore,
with a static on-board session, and covers:
- The Buying Decision: Which boat
is right for you?
- The Skills of Ownership: Basic How's and
Why's.
- Yacht Equipment: What I available,
What it does and What you need.
- Yacht Maintenance: The how's,
where's and why's of yacht maintenance.
Costs: 2 Students: THB 5,000 per person
