Instructor, Racing Courses and Clinics
Instructor Clinics
Some sailors feel the need to return something to the pursuit that has given us so much; sharing skills, knowledge and love of sailing with others, through instruction, is an ideal way to achieve this and ensure the healthy growth of yachting.
Yachtpro's instructor training clinics are held regularly and conform to the internationally recognized American Sailing Association standard.
Instructor clinics teach a structured curriculum and proven presentation techniques while testing existing skills and knowledge.
In the past, a good sailor became a sailing instructor simply by beginning to teach
and declaring himself or herself an instructor.
The pit falls of this approach are obvious.
ASA certified instructors have proven they measure up to a standard which is used by more than 90% of the commercial sailing schools in the USA and many world wide.
Prior to the clinic, we offer a preparation course which enables candidates time to work on the areas they perceive require reinforcement. These courses are tailored to each individual's requirements.

Yachtpro Racing Courses are somewhat unique as they are booked on a crew basis.
This enables a cohesive unit to be developed quickly and enhances your progress through the racing fleet when you return home.
Our racing courses are designed to give you the yacht handling skills and theoretical knowledge to race in safety and confidence at your chosen level of proficiency. They progress from Club Racing to the involved responsibilities of the Offshore Racing.
Courses are formatted to ensure that you reach your goal but also have a lot of fun while you do it.
Many of our past students have sailed in major Inshore and Offshore events which is testament to our training methods.
